Moon (2009)
Moon is a 2009 British science fiction film about a man who experiences a personal crisis as he nears the end of a three-year solitary stint mining helium-3 on the far side of the Earth's moon.
Plot:
Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is an employee contracted by Lunar Industries to extract helium-3 from lunar regolith, for much-needed clean energy back on Earth, leaving behind his wife Tess (Dominique McElligott), who was pregnant with their daughter, Eve, when he left Earth. He is stationed for three years at the largely automated "Sarang" lunar base ("sarang" means 'love' in Korean[7]), with only a robotic assistant named GERTY (equipped with a chatterbot voiced by Kevin Spacey) for company. A chronic long-range communications satellite failure limits him with only occasional recorded transmissions to and from Earth, as fixing the link is not among Lunar Industries' priorities. Two weeks before completing his contract, Sam begins to hallucinate, briefly seeing a teenage girl on the station. During a routine rover excursion to retrieve the full canisters of helium-3 from one of the automated harvesting machines, he sees a figure standing on the lunar surface and, distracted, he crashes his rover into the harvester, losing internal atmosphere. Sam hurriedly switches on his suit's life support system before losing consciousness.
Cast:
* Sam Rockwell as Sam Bell
* Kevin Spacey as the voice of GERTY
* Robin Chalk as Sam Bell Clone #2
* Dominique McElligott as Tess Bell
* Kaya Scodelario as Eve Bell
* Benedict Wong as Lunar Industries' Thompson

Rango (2011)
Plot:
In the film, Rango is a pet chameleon who lives in a terrarium. He has long thought himself a hero, but then finds himself removed from his contemporary American southwest surroundings and ending up in an Old West town called Dirt, which is populated by various desert critters garbed like characters out of a spaghetti western. As he’s always thought himself a hero, Rango establishes himself as the lawman, strolling the streets as a sheriff like character. Unknown to him, the “good guy” role doesn’t do very well in Dirt -- with a whole cemetery filled with good guy tombstones. But that doesn’t stop Rango from trying, constantly seeking to fit in, with his surroundings, no matter how challenging -- just like a good chameleon! At a certain point in the narrative, Rango will come to question everything about himself.
